Was scanning thru iTunes when I ran across this title and thought I'd give it a whirl. So glad I did! Its an odd film about this conservative family in Orange County, Ca. That's what caught my eye, wanted to see if there was anything out there that sort of captures the nature of the Republican primary season we all find ourselves in. "Home" does and then some! Its a satire on this poor father who thinks his family life is perfect...without ruining it, is he ever in for a surprise! The film gets more and more loopy as it goes along but if you stick with it, you'll have some laughs on the ride. Double that if you're a fan of Grace Zabriskie who is wonderful as the wacky mom, Lois.

This movie is not for the faint hearted, but for those who love the other side. I believe one should go for it and then form an opinion. Such entertainment and leaves you with wanting to grow. Not much of this high level thought provoking Christian bashing rampage to compare to!!!! See And Believe. So exhilarating. See for yourself!!! It's a nightmare watch unless you really wanna know the truth of the horrid catholic church worse than the Borgias. No but really you will have so much fun with this endearing family movie. Happy days will come from this venture and if not the case I will tell you where the creators of this endeavour. The writer stroke director lives in Paris, France - not as you might believe - Texas. We are in America after all.

I saw this movie really late one night on TV and all I can say is I cannot remember much about its storyline but more about its imagery - one of the most surreal films I've ever been host to experience, HOME: THE HORROR STORY was clearly shot on Digital Video by a crew of either unknowns or first-timers. It was more a comedy than a horror story and the only reference to horror is the combining effect of very colourful sets, weird music and odd acting. I am not even going to explain what this movie is about as I would just get lost in time, but lets just say that it is really worth seeing if you are a genuine film fan and anything interests you; AND if you can find a copy of this film anywhere. Luckily I managed to record it from TV so I have the chance of viewing it over, but having looked everywhere on the Internet I can say that it is untraceable.
