The chemistry between Heigl and Wilson are excellent to play their roles. It is a dark comedy of an unhappy, sex-deprived husband and his control freak wife that made the whole plot full of twist and turns with sex, drugs and murder not suitable for young children. Brewster was also very sexy in this movie and the antagonists are not to be messed with either. The movie itself was well-written and I wasn't really expecting anything from this movie but it delivered the theme it wants to portray quite well. It kept my attention all throughout the film which Hollywood rarely does these days. Will I watch it again or recommend it with friends? Oh, definitely! Good job guys!

Ms. Heigl must be pretty desperate to accept a movie with such a poor script. The subject has been used and reused in so many movies and even in so many secondary stories of any police/detective TV series. A normal guy who is seduced by a sexy employee and then gets blackmailed by her and her friends. The rest is just terrible, crazy blood thirsty Ms. Heigl chopping Ms. Brewster in small pieces and storing her in a fridge and then more crazy Ms. Heigl's husband blowing her to pieces in the middle of his son's birthday party. Seriously there is nothing funny in this movie and the dark bits are just gross and poorly made. Worst part of the movie is the chopping of Ms. Brewster by Ms. Heigl. Obviously Ms. Brewster wouldn't agreed to be in the chopping table and she was replaced by a mannequin with barely a resemblance of her features. Use those two hours to sleep instead of wasting your time watching this.

Wasn't prepared for this twist on the happy, white, middle class, family storyline. I was leaning towards another redundant rom-com (Hollywood not N.Y. style) and should have paid attention to the knife on the DVD cover. It seems, and there's a bit of assuming in this, that 9 out 10 one star ratings come from females and/or families with little ones surprised (upset even) that this film turned out to be a bloody dark comedy. Perhaps hitting too close to home that one of there own should have such a nasty disposition. Leaving aside personal taste I was surprised at how well written, acted and twisty this turned out. Not having any personal connection with an urban/suburban white middle class lifestyle I did not feel violated or offended. We have a super competitive, scrapbook, goal setting obsessive-compulsive mom with an acquiescent former used car, now furniture salesman (2nd & 3rd most ridiculed professions, behind lawyers) dad with two polar opposite kids (reflecting their parents, of course). Final thought, for the squeamish mentioned way above you can sleep better knowing that, no, the kids did survive (those were screams for another).
