Hot for teacher, but the movie is horrible.I'd love to know the back story on how this film got money to make it.It's horribly written and acted. The plotElementary school teacher, Kayla King thought she had the perfect relationship, and after an impromptu wedding, Kayla discovers that not only is she the other women. She's the other wife. For my first movie review I wanted to watch an original underground film that would transcend the typical stereotypes set by its former predecessors. A movie that would prove that low budgets do not equal low quality. Sadly this project was not such a film. I was attracted to the film because of the list of fresh faces of actors in this film such as : Ayo Sorrells, Dylan Mooney, Shamari Berkley, and Deja Lewis. But with the lead's only real acting experience being in "Zane's Sex Chronicles" what could you expect ? Ayo Sorrells plays an elementary school teacher named Kayla King who gets married to her boyfriend of nine months on a whim only later to find out that he is already married. Soon after, for no explained reason she is granted with the ability to read the minds of men that she encounters. Apart from the awful performance by the lead actress and supporting cast, the plot itself is nothing more than an intensely poor female version of what women want. At one point the plot gets so off track that the actors are forced explain plot points that the story arch fails to clarify. The jokes in this movie fall flat far more times than they land and the directing only showcases the films lack of competence and organization. While this movie has little to no appeal, the one thing that is note worthy is the performance of the students, which in my opinion is what carried the film. Shamari Berkley plays a troubled elementary student with dyslexia. When Kayla reads his mind and finds out what is really bothering him she begins to encourage him and helps him to overcome his condition. While I am a fan of the idea of teachers helping students i found it confusing that it took super powers for her to see that there was a problem with one of her students. Overall this film is a thrill ride that never starts the ignition. I rated this movie a 2 out 10 for at least having some type of heart although it is in cardiac arrest, not much reason to watch this film other than a good laugh at the terrible performance and execution.
