This film is diabolical! Why I watched it I will never know. As soon as I saw the names Tanter, Phillips and Phythian I should have realised it would be 90 odd minutes of dross! The acting is absolutely terrible (if you can call it acting). The set up is just not believable....which soldiers were supposed to be SAS, I haven't got a clue. The dialogue is infantile. Technically, it is shot okay. The camera work is pretty good....but that is about it. I am annoyed at myself for watching this. Please, do not bother wasting your time watching.

The main villain was too much like Ricky Gervais after he had sucked a lemon and the so say SAS team must have been trained in the 'don't do it like this academy of special forces' ( The lead scout ninja with the mohican haircut was a rare treat) They were that bad tactically they were almost American. It's a pity because the plot was fairly solid and it could have been so much better quite easily, if only the director had watched spooks and peaky blinders to see how the plot could have been run.Amazon gave it 1 star which was harsh and at the time of writing IMDb gave it 2.6 which is there or thereabouts. The irony of the foregoing is that i'm going to have to see 10 Downing St now to see if the Director got any better?

This film, a British film called He Who Dares is one if not the worst British film I have seen in a long time. It is based around a kidnapping of the British Prime Ministers daughter on Christmas eve whilst she is at a party, the so called hero's are the SAS, I say so-called because in this film it makes them out to be Gung-Ho trigger happy morons who rush into a situation without finding out everything there is to know about the incident. Other reviews say it's a bit of a comedy but I cannot see how murder and violence can be called a comedy. This film should be locked in a steel water tight container and thrown into the deepest canyon in the sea never to be seen again.

Acting is atrocious, making our SAS look like amateurs, the story line is not believable behaviour like this does not happen in the UK. The director should have met up with the SAS for some insight to their behaviour and skills. This should not have made It on to the TV, and some of the language is disgusting. Most people would be ashamed of this film, I know the director should be. A must not see film, dragged out by abnormal effects. Defiantly not special effects. I would never waste 72 minutes of my life watching this again. Over all unrealistic and bad acting. Absolute rubbish Please forward this review to the director so he can see what his mistakes were and next time produce something worth while.
