This is a Korean animated film that came to my attention a while back when it played the New York Children's Film Festival. Currently on Voom's family channel I watched a good bit of this turkey before turning it off. The plot has something to do with an obnoxious kid on a flying bicycle (Hey they call him obnoxious in the movie) rescuing a princess and getting involved with a usurper to her throne and a war. Playing and looking like a dozen or two other animated films from the Far East this film has nothing to set it apart from any other film except that its main character is the sort of fellow you'd like to drown. The less said the better. This is one of the Children Film Fest's "What were they thinking?" films. Only to be approached on cable.

It was heavily geared toward children. As a result, it had a bit of trouble holding my attention. Nonetheless, it was nicely drawn and animated. There were some jokes and plot points in there that wouldn't be made by anybody appealing to American parents. That, of course, is a compliment to the filmmakers who were trying to tell a story, not sell a doll to neo- conservatives in the Bible belt. On the whole, I do not recommend this film even though there were some nice things about it.
