I surfed the listings and recognized Susan Lucci's name so I intended to look into the drama and pop out if it did not grab my attention. I guess I admire Ms. Lucci's part so I remained tuned until the final scene. Most of the time I watch FNC and spending time with a movie is not my usual habit. The drama was attention-getting and the plot was straight forward. Susan Lucci is an eye catcher. I will pay more attention to the actresses in the listings of the TV programs. The entire program was pleasing and interesting...I appreciate a movie that is free from distracting sounds and profanity.. something that is fairly close to a view of normal, everyday life and a little touch of suspense. This was a pleasant time and I continue to look for older movies such as "Kiss and Tell". That title gave real pleasure to view.

Anyone with a hand in (mis)casting this movie should be fired. The book was great, and the prospect of a movie (even small screen) was exciting. The casting gets a giant HUH?! from me though. Susan Lucci may have been the darling of TV movies at the time, but that didn't make her right for this part. Both she and Lee Horsley should have been left out, and people of the correct age should have starred instead. Not even the usually great Shari Belefonte could save this movie. None of the characters had any charisma -- not sure if it was the fault of a choppy script or actors just going through the motions. Probably both. If you see this on TV again someday (let's hope no one bothers airing it, though), just keep flipping channels! Do yourself a favor and just read the book (or any Sandra Brown book) instead.

Oh my goodness, this movie is the reason why books should not be made into movies. This is one of the worse movies I have ever seen. The casting was horrible. Who was in charge of this, I don't know, they just never read the book (which I loved, btw). The acting stunk to high heaven, the script was worse, I wish this movie had never been made. Lucci was horrible. I really do not believe this woman acts- if she does- not very well. When will she ever act a role her own age, too? This role was supposed to go to an actress who was 30 years in age, not 45 to 50 and looking it. My advice is, skip this movie altogether, and read the book if you have some time. Other than that, find another, better movie to watch. AVOID THIS MOVIE AT ALL COST. IT'S ONE OF THE WORST MOVIES OF ALL TIME!!!!!
