I saw this as part of a screening at the Tribeca Film Festival. It's the story of a couple of friends who are trying to hang out, have a good time and play rugby as life gets in the way. The film follows them over the course of a season as they attempt to gain players and win enough games that the team won't be sent down to a lower bracket for the following season(It's not about the worst rugby team in Finland like the Tribeca description said). It's an enjoyable film that's kind of like spending an hour and a half with some rude crude and very funny buddies. This was the tenth film I saw at the festival and one of the very few films that I never had the urge to check my watch. The time just flew by. If the film has any real flaw, it's that when the film ended I was kind of left wondering if that was all there was. Yes, it's a portrait of two friends, but at the same time it's neither very deep, nor completely focused (A girl who plays with the team briefly and becomes a cheer leader gets pushed to the background even though she is a compelling character, I would have loved to have known more about her). Complaints are minor since this is ultimately good time with good people. Recommended, though I'd wait for TV.
