I saw this movie about 12 years ago, I never saw it again , You maybe thinking, why bothers review after so many years, My told about the movie called Final Stab, The plot sounded like another movie I saw years, Only to find out it was the same, When I saw this movie it was Called Final Scream, 12 years where Scream series was still making buzz and my foolishness made buy this movie. I Don't remembered much from the movie, the plot did sound really good and could have been a lot of fun. Number of people invited murder party and then they need to find out who killer is but soon bodies that really being killed off. I don't think this movie was that gory at all, the kills were mostly of screen. The acting was not good in this movie at all, you can't tell that by the trailer. I thought the twist end was okay and suits the end of the story. 2/10
... View MoreWell what can i say about this film, its so cheaply made and the "acting" was very very bad. From watching the first few minutes of this rubbish film you can tell its going to be a pile of crap, but i though no i will continue watching to see if it gets any better and it only got worse. Everything about this film is bad, and its a shame cause the idea could have been made into a good film. What a waste of £1.99 and just over an hour of my life. Whatever you do, don't watch this film, and the only reason i gave it 2 stars and not 1 is cause nearly everyone of the terrible actors gets killed in it. What were they thinking is all i can say.
... View MoreOnce again David D. brings his own special brand of homo teasing into his work. I say that because it is clear that homo erotic elements are not really present in this film. Certainly not like David's past endeavors, Brotherhood, Voodoo Acadeny et, al. None-the-less in smaller doses it's all David. We are treated to one hunky stud in his FTLS and a brief (no pun intended) conversation between two other hunks in the eleventh hour of the script. A conversation I might add that if fully explored might have made this a different, albeit, better film. The Parker Posey look alike Antagonist hosts "April Fool's Day" on property a zillion miles away from civilization. Okay. It's probably Friday the 13th too. Actors are hired to propel a weak scheme that our host wants to develop a "mystery murder weekend" service. Everyone's in on the gag but her sweet sister (there's a hint of sibling problems) and host's ex-boyfriend who is now sweet sister's sweetheart. But wait just when you think Host wants to doom sister, a second possibility is hinted at in a conversation about between the ex-boyfriend and one of the many gay men at the party. Seems those two men had a thing for each at one time. Hmmmm. I've overused the word hint. And that's the problem with the entire movie -- it only hints at things. Even at the end it hints that there is more information lurking beneath the surface of these shallow characters. But only a hint. As if someone didn't want to commit to a harder edged plot line and instead just hints at what should be fully explained. Like Japanese food, an hour after eating, you can't quite remember what it was you ate, and this movie leaves you empty by its conclusion, thirsting for more than just a hint of plot, motivations and character development. And lastly, David, can't you give us a male butt shot once in a while.
... View MoreWas there a previous stab? Like in a past life, maybe? In the world of low budget horror, there is nothing more annoying than seeing a large sum of money go to a seriously crappy film. ****SPOILER****In this star-barren flick, six Ivy League grads are part of a 'devious' plot to drive a middle-class outsider crazy. Their leader, a self-styled super bitch, sets up a mock murder mystery where everyone really dies. Her plan is to blame the killings on our poor outsider. The bodies pile up, but the tables are turned and the outsider comes out on top. This movie was slightly disjointed and greatly lousy with bad acting and too-dark lighting. Two strong pointsgood title sequence and fairly decent musical score.
