Suzanne Kaaren is on trial for her life. A nightclub entertainer she's accused of murdering a fellow performer. But she's got three alibi witnesses and need I tell you who they are.Moe, Larry, and Curly when called to testify wreak havoc on the poor judge's courtroom. Curly is called to testify first and he has a very funny bit when he is called on to remove his hat and swear on the Bible. Since he's carrying a cane he can't quite multi-task. When they do get him on the stand after some futile attempts to elicit testimony, he asks if he and his friends could reenact their testimony. After that the three who are musicians back Suzanne Kaaren in a song. It gets very funny as Larry's violin bow removes the court reporter's toupee, Moe swallows his mouth organ, and Curly's bass fiddle bow becomes a general weapon of war. Believe it or not, the truth does will out.Columbia Pictures for which they toiled released a film called Who Killed Gail Preston two years later. I wonder if the inspiration came from this film where Suzanne Kaaren's character is Gail Tempest? If you look among the courtroom spectators you will find the parents of Moe, Curly, and Shemp Howard. Their only appearance in any of their sons' work. The Stooges wreak havoc and laughs on the criminal justice system.

This is another so-so Three Stooges vehicle: as swing musicians, they're the chief witnesses in the trial of a nightclub murder (where the accused is the young chanteuse in their act). The implausible situations that ensue are often wacky-for-wackiness's-sake (such as the dotty old lady in the jury giving her phone number to the prosecuting attorney), though the section in which Curly takes the stand provides some undeniable visual and verbal hilarity. Eventually, the boys – along with their scantily-clad companion – perform a musical number in order to reconstruct the night of the murder. The riotous climax, then, sees an over-pressurized water hose running riot in the courtroom…until, finally, a parrot reveals the identity of the real killer!

SPOILERS I will have to admit it, this is the first Three Stooges short that I have seen. Luckily, this is a very excellent and funny short. There are not a lot really good physical comedy out there. The Three Sttoges has very memorable physical humor that can all be seen in Disorder in the Court. The only question I have is what type of moron would actually write and note that says that he killed a guy and put in on a bird's leg? Here is the plot. As you may know, this takes place in a court. Curly, Larry, and Moe are witnesses at a trial. If that is not good enough they are murder witnesses. Gail Tempest is accused of killing a man named Kirk Robin. Gail, Moe, Larry, and Curly are performers at a nightclub. There is a lot of mishap, or disorder, in the court. They have a lot of trouble with a gun, they injure a couple people in the jury when they do their performing routine, and they spray everyone with hoses. Then, everybody finds out that Buck Wing killed Kirk when a parrot has a note that says that he killed him in it's claw.Overall, this is a terrific and funny classic nineteen thirties short. Moe, Larry, and Curly are hilarious, and this short has some very funny and memorable scenes. There is also of the infamous injury gags that the Three Stooges do, such as the eye poke, the slap, and much more. Anway, this is an entertaining and funny short that any fan of comedy or the Three Stooges will like.9/10Recommended Titles: A Plumbing We Will Go.

"Disorder in the Court" is a fantastic and well-named Three Stooges comedy. The setting is a courtroom, where Curly, Larry, and Moe all get a chance to go absolutely berserk. Never mind the plot; just enjoy watching the Stooges cause all kinds of havoc! Here are the highlights from this fine film (DON'T read any further until after you have seen it). The boys perform a fine musical interlude (Larry on violin, conductor Moe on harmonica, and Curly on spoons and double bass), with Larry wrestling with a "tarrantula" on his violin bow. The defense attorney (Bud Jamison) leaves the courtroom to find the Stooges out in the hallway playing jacks and disagreeing over onesies, twosies, and fivesies. Larry lets out a Tarzan yell (apparently for no reason) after he snatches the wad of gum off of Moe's nose. Curly tries to knock out the parrot with a mallet but instead knocks out each member of the jury one by one. And finally, "Take off your hat. Raise your right hand. Now put your left hand here. Take off your hat. Raise your right hand," etc."Disorder in the Court" is undoubtedly a classic Three Stooges film, and one of the reasons why is because of its public domain status; all of the TV specials about the Stooges are full of clips from this short. To put it very simply, "Disorder in the Court" is a must-see for every Three Stooges fan.
