Dealova is a 2005 Indonesian romantic drama film directed by Dian Sasmita and adapted by Indonesian author Dyan Nuranindya from her 2004 best-seller teenlit novel of the same name. I heard that this film is so popular at the era. But if this so popular why there is less reviews about this film, even in the IMDb there's no one review. Well. I don't know why this happend, so I decide to make one of the review about it. As you can see in the tittle, in my opinion Dealova has a simple story with predictable ending. How come? First of all, if you haven't see the film you might be stop reading this because this review contain with spoiler. Dealova is about a Triangle love story between Karra, Dira, and Ibel. The main character Karra, she is a young beautiful, kind, and talented girl of Basketball in her school. The setting of the film is mostly in School and at home. Both locations leads Karra to meet two handsome boys with different character. Dira is one of a good basketball player at the school, he is kinda rude person, but he can be soft when he with Karra. Ibel, he is a best friend of Karra's brother, he and Karra meet when he is in Karra's house. He is so gentle, kind, and a considerate person. Karra rarely meet with Ibel. In the opposite, she meet Dira almost every day in school. They both practice basketball together. As time flies, they both become a couple. At first, that is not easy for Karra in relationship with Dira, because sometimes he cannot handle his temper. Then a worse things happened, Karra has to face the situation of losing him. She realize, the cancer that makes him act rude because he doesn't want Karra love him deeply. After months of her losing, Karra meet again with Ibel. For her, Ibel has no change, he is just like the first time she met, caring and loving person. That makes Karra open up her heart and fall in love with him. Yupps, in the end they become a couple. This is why I say this movie is so predictable for me.
