Worst film I've seen since the Wickerman remake(Nicolas Cage, what are you doing!!). If you haven't got the budget to make a disaster movie, don't bother. Acting was awful, directing was terrible, didn't even feel like a disaster movie! Sorry you film makers, you need to try much better! If you want to make a disaster movie, generally it will be cheesy unless the world blows up as an outcome but modern day movies need to try a lot harder to get my vote. My favourite movies are Wickerman(original), Dead Man Shoes, Lord of the Rings(I've let some of the poor effects go as it's awesome),Of Mice and Men, Shawshank Redemtion and Batman Begins. I've recently learnt that I'm pretty hard to please with films but I'm sorry but this film wasn't my thing! Hope someone else out there enjoys it
... View MoreI must have seen the tame version of this film under the title Force of Impact. No gay sex, not that it would have enhanced the film for me. Not my cup of tea. I didn't have any problem with the acting, it was good from seasoned professionals. The dialog seemed average. The storyline was average. The camera work was good. But the editing left way too many dramatic pauses and too much dead air. It was not unusual for the dialog to end and then the film just hangs there while the actor stares at something or shuffles some papers. Not much in the special effects area. There was nothing really bad nor good about the film. It was just kind of there as a pay day for the people involved.
... View MoreBeing a fan of Antonio I decided to purchase this DVD when it was released on DVD in the UK mid January 2006. The title used here is ULTIMATE LIMIT and gone are all the references to Antonio's character being gay. There is a glance between him and his co-worker that may have meant more in the original screening but that is now all. The movie was around 85 minutes long so I assume 5 minutes have been edited out. The movie ends with Antonion's supposedly single male character being joined at home by the female lead character to take their "working kiss" a little further. If this movie has a release under the original title with the original scenes, I may be tempted to buy again.
... View MoreI have not seen this movie but I thought it important to make a response to the previous comment. He thought that the movie was made as a straight thriller and then was rejected so some additional gay scenes were added. In actuality, the article I read stated that it was made as a gay movie, however, if they found enough popularity to go mainstream, then they would cut out the gay scenes. So he was actually almost correct in his assumption. I did purchase the movie from the Here Channel, but have yet to watch it. I don't think I will be disappointed because, well.... it was never in the theatre, so I can't possibly think that it would be spectacular event....
