I could tell as soon as ian tracey appeared that this film was made in vancouver, canada...sure enough, the cast was mostly canadian...i was amused by an actress andrea roth using a body double for the nude scenes....why bother to agree to appear in a film with so much sex if you're not going to be realistic....or perhaps she wasn't as proud of her pokies as the double...she's certainly no sex symbol compared to other women in the cast....

DANGEROUS ATTRACTION is one of those Z-grade 'erotic' thrillers that they were still making a decade after the likes of FATAL ATTRACTION and BASIC INSTINCT popularised that particular sub-genre of film. This one 'boasts' the talents of B-movie action man Linden Ashby alongside Rae Dawn Chong in support, the latter sporting an odd wig that makes her look just like James Earl Jones in CONAN THE BARBARIAN. The story is about a dull young blonde woman who starts dating a couple of men, one of whom might be the psycho who goes around knifing anyone connected to her. This film is slow, inept, and laughable, and even the sex scenes aren't very interesting, relying far too obviously on body doubles which stand out a mile.

Pretty good murder mystery to rent on a rainy afternoon. A business woman's co-workers die one by one after she meets a mysterious stranger at a club. The club scenes were very interesting. The film does keep you guessing until the end. The only thing that bothered me was that the woman never locked her door. My husband and I were actually screaming at TV "Lock your door already!" Other than that, it kept your attention and was full of suspense. As for the acting, the killer (I won't say who it was) was very good, as was the cop. The other actors were okay. Not a bad movie overall.

Poorly written, poorly plotted, poorly acted, poorly filmed. As a matter of fact, one of the few redeeming qualities was the quality of the body-double (though the transition from actress's face to the body-double was also poorly done). I felt like I was watching some sort of corporate training video: same overall quality...same overall message.
