For a start, in my opinion "Dance of the Dead" is not a horror. This post-apocalyptic story, placed in America after WWIII, brings brings an exciting visual experience and great acting, but although it's dark and morbid, it's not tense nor frightening. It's trump cards are the way scenes in the night club are shot and edited and Freddy Krueger in the role of main (?) villain. Ending twist is unexpected and powerful, but overall, movie doesn't have the strength of the previous episodes. Still, highly recommended. 7,5/10

View MoreThe film itself is not about anything, just laundering the budget, like seventy percent of the whole series, but it was in this series that Jonathan Tucker played very positively, I'm not a fan of the zombie genre, and it's not at all clear what the author of the aka directed the film, like everything in life is punishable, if it is, then it is said very muddy, and uninteresting.

It is especially horrific for Peggy (Jessica Lowndes), who is attracted to Jak (Jonathan Tucker) and goes to the show with him. What she sees is beyond the most unspeakable horror, but, even, more, the shock she next receives is beyond belief.Director Tobe Hooper, and writers Mick Garris and Richard Matheson (Duel, I Am Legend) give us a tale that is about the closest vision of Hell that I can imagine.
... View MoreThe only thing that kept me watching this episode was the sexy bad boy performance of "Jak" by Jonathan Tucker. I was thoroughly impressed by his ability to show sensitivity through such a tough character. Tucker carried this whole film. Robert Englund is better off writing this character off as "what not to do in future film choices".The budding love story (or fascination story) between the two main characters is the only good point of this story, the rest of it was just plain rushed and horrible. The director seemed to caught up in trying to shock us with what the world had become that the characters and the story itself were lost in translation. The only horror I felt by the end of watching this was how small Tucker's paycheck must have been for such a great performance.
