Román (Facundo Espinosa) and his friend Ali (Marina Glezer) seek out his girlfriend Jackie (Camila Velasco) in a dangerous zone in a suburb in Buenos Aires. Ali shows an old house and tells that Jackie had met a blonde guy that she found in Internet, and now she had been invited to have dinner with him. Román waits in the car while Ali enters the house. When Román suspects that something is wrong, he breaks in the house and finds two old men torturing a young woman in a room in the basement and Ali tied with nitroglycerin in her front head. Román neutralizes the nitro and releases his friend. Then he decides to seek out Jackie in the place while Ali tries to leave the house and call the police."Sudor Frío" is an Argentinean horror movie with a stupid and lame story and annoying music score. The imbecile decision of the lead characters staying in the creepy house instead of calling the police is absolutely unreasonable. The actress Marina Glezer is born in Brazil, but her parents left my country in the 70's to escape from the military dictatorship. My vote is three.Title (Brazil): "Calafrios" ("Shivers")

OK, some reviewers love love love this movie, it is a different take on a horror movie. The antagonists are two old dudes (different), that lure in teenage girls over the internet and torture them (not so diff), with nitroglycerin(diff!).I a girl that loves horror movies and the normal gratuitous boobs are expected. There were boobs and such, but the fact the girl crawled on her back like a crab for the entire movie was annoying. So shes covered in nitro(Fine), so her back was dry so she crab walks (Fine), but she crab walks with her feet why cant she just walk? But what ever, if you love horror movies, iv seen worse (a lot worse). But it was not as good as expected. I'll probably show it to some friends just so we can laugh at it.

I came by to read the reviews after watching this movie and I'm surprised they're so negative! I didn't expect much of it after recently watching another Latin American horror movie, Somos lo que hay, which I found insufferably boring, but this one was really worth my while. The atmosphere is dark and gritty, the main characters are likable and believable, and I loved the soundtrack (I'll be looking it up on the internet now). It might not be a cinematic masterpiece but it's definitely more entertaining that your average cookie-cutter boring torture movie. I had a great time with this movie and I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a fun and tense evening with friends. There is some nudity on it and some gory moments, but it it more centered around the plot than around blood, boobs and guts.

When I need diversion, nothing helps quite like a film festival. I can forgive Sudor Frío for a lot of imperfections: direction, script, actors, everything. The hammy, sophomoric acting; the dime store special effects ... But there's really no excuse for a mickey mouse script. You get the feeling that the film was put together by a quarrelsome committee of third graders, and aimed at an audience of chimpanzees. The dialogue was just dreadful. Also the actors were directed all wrong--if they in fact were directed. This is not the worst film ever made but...
