So many flaws and wrongs in this movie. I usually never regret watching a movie but this time I kinda want my 2h back. The acting was sloppy, the cinematography was boring, I didnt care about any of the characters or progress of the story at all. The editing was also wierd at times, especially in the end with the awkward slowmo death-scene. Martin Freeman can do better than this and probably his weak result was due to bad directing.

Do people in the movie make questionable choices? Yes. That's where the drama comes from in almost all movies (and in people's real lives too for that matter). Does that mean the main characters aren't worth empathizing with? I don't think so. Does anything completely unpredictable happen? Not really. I would compare this movie to an episode of Walking Dead where few zombies show up, and the eposode is mostly about the characters. In a lot of those eps nothing thrilling happens, but you really learn a lot about the characters. This is similar. If you are not a parent, this movie may not be super compelling to you, but I'm a sucker for a parent working really hard to save their kid.

What beautiful emotional heart touching movie... simple love it....

The film takes place during the zombie apocalypse, down under. Andy (Martin Freeman) is trying to scrounge food and keep his wife and toddler safe. Circumstances cause Andy to have little time to live as he tries to find a safe community for his daughter driving and hiking through the Outback.Semi-interesting.
