Great acting, great story...one hell of a different zombie movie. I have been quite impressed with films out of Australia lately. Two parts that have the quintessential dumb protagonist...when he prefers to wreck the car over hitting a zombie and how it took him so long to shoot the asshole, u will know what I mean when u watch it...overall great film.

My score for "Cargo" was lowered by its semi-predictable story and Simone Landers' unremarkable performance. Fortunately, the film has enough pros to make it a solid thriller. PROS: 1. Martin Freeeman's terrific performance 2. The apocalyptic world built by the film. 3. The emotional depth seen in the film. 4. A smart scene in the end that involves "spaghetti." 5. The make-up. 6. A despicable character.

The film takes place during the zombie apocalypse, down under. Andy (Martin Freeman) is trying to scrounge food and keep his wife and toddler safe. Circumstances cause Andy to have little time to live as he tries to find a safe community for his daughter driving and hiking through the Outback.Semi-interesting. More of a drama about human character. Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity

Follow a man walking through a small forest back and forth making only stupid decisions. Not including salaries, the film could not have cost more than $50,000 to produce.
