I don't know why many people didn't like it: It's a comedy! A well done comedy! These 4 women are incredibly funny and are able to lead the storyline (a very simple one) without making it too much boring. It was exactly what I expected. Of course it's not a Oscar movie or something like that but it never wanted it to be. One hour and a half well spent!

I lasted precisely 20 minutes. There is no way on earth I could have persevered any longer with this drivel. What a complete waste of so much talent. By the time I had decided I was either going to turn it off or put my foot through the screen I knew that once again it was only the lowest common denominator being catered for. Do not waste your time.

I was hoping this would be a fun movie until I realized Diane Keaton and Jane Fonda were in it. Both in my opinion stink as actresses and should go do reverse mortgage commercials or something of the like. Love Candice Bergen, great actress, and Mary's always fun, but they couldn't make up for the horrible acting by the other two. Add to that the long forgotten actors that we haven't seen cast in a movie in forever (only TV, and not even that very often), and I just couldn't get through the darn thing ! This is definitely a "b-rated/low budget" movie and it shows terribly.

This is a wonderful, fun, and delightful comedy with four great actresses at the center. It is about how attraction, love, and sex are still important no matter what your age. I laughed out loud many times, and thoroughly enjoyed the film. The dialogue was sharp and the plot was not predictable, as it could have been. This movie showcased the four older women and their lives, each showing a different aspect of life and relationships as they really are, not a rom/com fantasy.Go see it with your mom or friend.
