I reckon it was a great movie with plenty of well known movies and terrifying scenes. And although I loved seeing Freddy Krueger and the gang from Hellraiser ( I love Chatterer Cenobite ) as well as many others, I was in shock at some of the movies passed as "Horror Classics" Movies such as;-Leprechaun That looks like a huge waste of time-The Puppet Master Bah, Ridiculous-The Guardian Another waste of time...Just let it down...But one of the good things about this movie is that there are a lot of underground movies like "The Ugly" and "Candyman" which did look to have some quality in them. Anyway, If your a horror fan you must get this DVD, you might find a new favorite movie ;D

This is a cool little DVD that's great for a rental and will be amusing to horror-buffs as well as people who aren't very familiar with the genre. It contains several highlight scenes from such classics as "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (which happens to be one of my favorite scenes from any movie ever), "Phantasm", "Child's Play 2", and of course there's a couple of scenes featuring Jason and Freddy. What confuses me is why the people who put this together felt that adding in scenes from lesser known titles such as "The Dentist", "Wishmaster", and the great little hidden "Jack Frost 2" was a good idea. I didn't care for "Wishmaster" one bit and "The Dentist" was about as wretched as they come (that's my opinion anyway). Personally, I would've rather had some old classics ("Wolfman", "Frankenstein", "Pumpkinhead") instead, but then again, this still makes for a very entertaining watch and at only 58 mins, it's mostly time well spent. Oh, and I almost forgot about that scene from "The Guardian". I've never seen that one, but I guess I will have to catch it now. That scene was awesome.

Boogeymen is nothing more than an over-marketed informational piece of nonsense. And not even a good piece of informative garbage. It reveals nothing about any of the proclaimed "Boogeymen" that isn't already obvious. Example: Freddy Krueger - Stalks his victims in their dreams. Wears a glove with knives for fingers. Or; Chucky - A Killer Doll!!!All Boogeymen is is a poorly construed mish-mash of clips from various horror movies. Even most of the clips were a disapointment. Bottom line: Don't waste your time, go and rent the real thing.

Can you name a movie that has Jason, Freddy, Michael Myers, Chucky, Leatherface, Pinhead, and more in it? I sure can, BOOGEYMEN!Although the movie is just a bunch of clips put together, it shows us that the 80's and early 90's rocked! They have taken the absolute BEST in horror and smashed it all together in one killer compilation! The best part about this movie is that it takes the best scenes from the best movies. The tagline "Nothing but the good stuff" is true indeed. If you own the DVD, there is animated trivia, name that frame, original Theatrical trailers, a DVD-ROM interactive horror trivia games, Legends, Audio Commentary, and many more extras put in, making this movie a great buy!The overall presentation of this film makes it an absolute horror fest! Its like seeing all the scary parts of movies, but not having to sit through many hours of storyline! The directors put the segments together in a good, fast paced order, and I especially love the audio commentary by Robert Englund (who played "Freddy Krueger"). Overall I give this movie ********(8) out of *********(10) stars! ALSO: If you watch the closing credits, "JACK FROST 2" is billed as being in the movie, yet it is nowhere to be found in the movie, strange...Those FlixMix people always keep me guessing, Great movie!
