Years back, I never knew Chris Farley other than Coneheads ha and in Waynes World. But then I watched Tommy Boy least bits and pieces this was years ago. Then I came across the movie on again Hulu, David Spade and Chris are genius together and I loved it, then I got into Black Sheep and my love grew from there. I started to look up Chris on here, wiki, wherever I could. Love his movies, saw Beverly Hills Ninja three days ago, I love it.I love his fighting, I never knew he was so fit physically despite he's over weight. He played football and Rug-bee, and his training for this movie was great, especially with the swords and that three triple nun-chuck thing. I love his mix of three stooges kinda slap stick ha and him with Chris Rock is so funny. One of my favorite things in this movie, only one phrase I'll say, please for the love of pete stop taking his shoes ha.RIP Chris, we love you!

Beverly Hills Ninja The best part of being a ninja is that the all-black outfit has a slimming effect.Mind you, it doesn't seem to be working on the assassin in this comedy. An American (Nicollette Sheridan) hires Haru (Chris Farley), a klutzy Caucasian adopted by a ninja clan when he was a baby, to investigate her boyfriend's suspicious behaviour. When Haru discovers a counterfeiting operation, he travels to Beverly Hills to advise his client, only to learn she isn't who she said she is and that the case now involves a murder.Watching over Haru, on his Sensei's (Soon-Tek Oh) behest, is his Haru's adopted brother (Robin Shou), who protects him from afar.Although this is not the stout SNL alum's best comic outing, Beverly Hills Ninja does play to Chris Farley's strengths: incessant pratfalls and dumb-guy naivety.Ironically, when you send a fat ninja to California, they come back home anorexic.Yellow Light vidiotreviews.blogspot.ca

The Late Chris Farley, is the main reason why you should watch 'Beverly Hills Ninja'. Farley's films have always been comedies. Right from the cult-classic 'Tommy boy, to 'Black sheep', 'Almost Heroes' and 'Beverly Hills Ninja'. And in all those films, he has excelled.'Beverly Hills Ninja' tells the story of Haru, played by Farley, who was found by a clan of ninjas as an infant in an abandoned treasure chest and was raised by them. He never quite conforms to their culture and never acquires the skills of a ninja, but is nonetheless good-natured and persevering in his personal ambitions. His first mission brings him to Beverly Hills to investigate a recent murder. Now, if your a person who only enjoys 'Intelligent' & 'Real' Cinema, I'd say, Do Not watch this comedy. It's not meant for you. But for those, who admire comedy to the fullest, should not miss this. Sure, some jokes are kiddish, but some jokes, especially towards the finale, manage to bring in laughs.Dennis Dugan has the directed the film fairly. Acting wise: It's Farley who really owns the film. He excels and comes across as cute and soft. If Farley lived more, I am sure, he would have gone a legend.Miss you Farley!

This movie took classic jokes but put them into suck odd places it makes them feel new. So the general plot is that Haru is a baby found on the shore of japan. An old legend of a foreign boy. now for the first time (or at least from the movies I've seen) They had a incorrect "Legend".This movie took classic jokes to new levels. This movie was great and I think that it was a great movie for a quick laugh! now onto the cons. -as it did have some jokes that felt new, others were just the same old ones from about every other movie that used them. Finally is that sometimes everything had the worst luck, I know this is a common element in comedy's but it's really getting old. But overall this is a great movie!
