Like many others, I love the first All of My Heart movie. It is one of the best films that Hallmark has ever done. So, again like many others, I was eagerly awaiting the sequel and had high hopes that it would be as good as the first film. Though I did really enjoy All of My Heart: Inn Love, it falls just a tad short. Surprisingly, though both Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott again did really great jobs here, the fantastically charming chemistry that we saw between them in the first film, seemed just a little "off" this time, and the writing itself was also somewhat flat. The "Jenny" character was a bit whiny this time, which is completely contrary to how she was in the first film. The "Brian" character seemed about the same, though there was a bit too much improvisation with him early in the film this go around, and it seemed a little forced at times. It was very good to see the rest of the original cast return. However, I really did miss the original house in the sequel, which was pretty much almost a character itself in the first film. And though I understand why different goats were used, it would have been nice if they had more closely resembled the original Gabby and her babies. Lastly, I did expect/had hoped for Jenny and Brian's wedding somewhere along the way in the sequel, but that was not to be. Hopefully, if there is another film, there will be a wedding. I do hope there will be another sequel so as to tie up loose ends, and continue and/or finish the story. The final scene gives the impression that the story does continue. I hope so. Stay tuned.

... is not the different house or goats. It stems from the core of the relationship problem. Opening a B&B or starting a small business is a huge financial drain. Men go away for extended periods on occasion to provide for their family. For example, in the case of the US Navy, a deployment is 6 months. Brian going to work for several weeks- or even several months- would allow the business to have the necessary funds to operate. Of course, since this is a Hallmark movie it all turns out well in the end, but Jenny seemed awfully selfish and not understanding- especially when her supplier changed and she lost some of her limited income. It was refreshing to see a main male lead that didn't need a shave, although there were plenty of Guys Perpetually in Need of a Shave to be seen. The romance between the critic and the gigantor handyman dude was entertaining.

Let me first make a very clear statement - I like this movie. A lot.Could be I'm just a sucker for anything romantic, but Hallmark really gets to me. The formula was simple, but it works. Nice to see Elliott and Chabert pair up again for a third Hallmark movie - maybe it's just me, but I sorta had the feeling that until now, Hallmark has never paired up male and female protagonists in more than two movies of different stories(not counting the SSD and all the mystery movies):Andrew Walker and Arielle Kebbel - 2 movies counted; Nikki Deloach and Andrew Walker - 2 movies counted; Dale Midkiff and Katie Heigl - 2 movies counted; Sarah Jones and Jordan Bridges - 2 movies counted;Erin Cottrell and Logan Bartholomew - 2 movies counted; Autumn Reeser and Antonio Cupo - 2 movies counted...... plus, they have such crazy AMAZING compatible chemistry on scene, it's an enjoyment watching these two together. And about the main topic - The first All of My Heart movie set timeline in spring, and Inn Love said "six months"; in autumn. After watching Summer - following Autumn - in the Vineyard, I'm starting to wonder if All of My Heart would also be a quadrilogy - Spring time, Jenny and Brian fell in love and got engaged; Autumn, they tackle their first hardship and re- engage; then a third movie taking place in next year's June Weddings; and Christmas time, the year after that, Jenny and Brian would be expecting their Inn's new family arrival...It's very enticing.
