I think I have vague recollections of this from childhood. I was able to see it again recently and it's the kind of all-loving Christmas cheer you would expect. The story is about a young worm that moves into a new town. He tries so hard to make new friends, that he keeps messing up and breaking stuff. This is kind of annoying now that I'm older. He does stupid things, like moving a ladder someone is standing on. No wonder worms don't want him around. But, this is all about second chances, and seeing things from the outsider's perspective. The vocal talent was all round pretty good, and not ridiculous cartoon annoyance you'd expect. Apart from the Mayor who had the most forced speech impediment. There's an original song which is a little depressing, but in a good way. The darkness of the animation, only makes it feel warmer towards the end.
