Gaurav (Sidharth Malhotra) is in Miami, US and works in Sales department of a Company. He has recently purchased a house and a mini-van. He seems like an ordinary person and parallely we see Rishi (Sidharth Malhotra 2nd role) who works with Colonel Vijay (Suniel Shetty) with others as part of Unit X - part of Indian Spy. Rishi has been doing this for quite a few years and wants to quit and parallely we are shown that one of his missions is to intercept and extract information from a person called Gaurav, who is bringing in valuable information, worth 11 million USD. While Rishi is going to meet Gaurav, **Spoiler Alert** we think that the 2 versions of the same looking actors on the scene but just now we understand that Gaurav and Rishi are the same. Rishi is approached by a member of NSC (National Security Council) and he tells Rishi that the last few missions headed by Colonel were rouge and were not approved by Indian Government. Colonel also comes to know that Rishi is going to double-cross him and he has his team kill Rishi once Rishi gets the data drive from Gaurav. But Rishi escapes and uses Gaurav's identity to travel to US. In the rest of the movie is about how Rishi/Gaurav comes out of this mess

please Sidharth i was bored after seeing your last 2 pathetic movies..please at least put another one expression on your face...i can't understand when he is angry, sad, happy or confuse,In whole picture from starting to end only one expression was there.Actually This actor Sidharth should stop doing movies and give peace to people(specially after Flops Like Baar Baar Dekho,Hasee To Phasi,Brothers&Now this Gentleman) bollywood needs to now understand that the people like this who can't act and doing same things again and again should stop now....i have wasted my time and money on this crap..in fact this movie is copied from many Hollywood movie scenes like FF7,Mr.andMrs.Smith,Mission Impossible and by even that it can't become successful...worst casting on Sidharth and jecqline....if Akshay kumar or Salman khan would be better choice of this...

I found absolutely no flaws in this film. Sidharth plays Gaurav and Rishi with ease. It's his show all the way! He performs excellently. All the action sequences look super realistic! There is not a single dull moment. Suneil Shetty and Darshan Kumar are excellent. Jacqueline does a fine job as well. THis film really takes you on a roller coaster ride which you don't want to end. If you're a true film fan, you must watch A Gentleman.

Definitely worth watching it! It's refreshingly different, subtle, and stylish! Raj and DK's sensibilities and humor are very evident and make this film stand apart from the senseless mush that is being doled out nowadays. The film offers a lot of opportunities for guffaws and chuckles as well as some breathtaking moments with cool stunts. Siddharth's comic timing, Hussain's chamchagiri, Jignes' desi mafia and Jacqueline's foot in the mouth moments all make you want to see the film a second time. The locales are awesome and the music is very hummable. "Bandook meri Laila" is catchy and "Lagee na choote" makes you root for Sidhharth's Rishi. The film definitely deserves a 7 or 8 but I decided to go with a 10 on the rating because I want to counter some of the deliberate negative reviews that seem to be out there. I am surprised why anyone would want to pull a good film down purely for reasons that they know best! Appalling!!! Folks, please go watch if you haven't already, it is worth your money and I promise you will come out laughing...especially after watching the last scene with Hussain :-)))
